Page Views - The number of times users request a page which may contain a specific ad.
Pay Per Click - A payment program that pays the affiliate a flat fee for each unique visitor referred to the advertiser.
Pay Per Lead - A payment program that pays the affiliate a flat fee for each qualified lead referred to the advertiser.
Pay Per Sale - A payment program that pays the affiliate a flat fee for each sale from a customer referred to the advertiser.
Peer to peer mode (ad hoc mode) - An 802.11 networking framework in which devices or stations communicate directly with each other, without the use of an access point. Ad-hoc mode is also referred to as peer-to-peer mode or an Independent Basic Service Set (IBSS). Ad-hoc mode is useful for establishing a network where wireless infrastructure does not exist or where services are not required.
Performance - The measure of how well an advertisement brings customers to the advertiser.
Performance Based Advertising - Advertisements for which the advertiser pays based on the actual number and/or type of customers they attract.
Publisher - An entity which publishes a media on which advertisements can be placed, such as a website, newspaper, or magazine.
